Do you tweet? I signed up a few months back but I’m not a big fan.
Yes I can tweet but to check other people, groups I’m following, I have to log on to the Twitter web-site. I don’t check there that often so it makes it a bit pointless having the account. Unless of course you are on the Vodaphone network where its a 2-way process, tough if you’re with a different provider.
The other drawback is trying to understand some of the lingo that appears on some tweets – too much for me – think I’ll leave it to the “geeks” out there.
My account is ‘protected’ so that I approve anyone who wants to follow me, I’m still waiting on a couple of people accepting me as followers however, I’ve not approved a few requests from some dodgy people – I suspect spam! And because I’ve ‘protected’ my updates you can’t use the Twitter application on Facebook.
All in all, I won’t be using it much.
Twitter, or not
