North Berwick used to be worried about the number of charity shops in the town. Now there’s a new worry, the number of hairdressers.
Another two retail outlets have recently been converted into hairdressers. I’ve been out and counted them: there are 4 in the High Street and 2 in Market Place. If you add in the only dedicated gent’s barbers that makes 7 in total. Just where are they getting their trade? Can they all survive?
