I guess there are still many people who ignore the consensus that climate change is upon us. I still prefer to call it environmental damage because it is about what we are doing to the biodiversity of the planet. There is though one question that is being ignored – that of sustainability.
It used to be that sustainability was the buzz word, the main topic of the “green agenda”. It needs to come back up that agenda. It is the big forgotten question. Its about how we can live on this planet of reducing finite resources, how we provide for our needs today without creating an ever increasing bill to be paid by our children never mind our grandchildren.
