East Lothian Health Network is the new name for the “Public Partnership Forum” that exists in East Lothian. It is part of the Community Health Partnership which manages and delivers health services in the county.
Members of the Network have places on the CHP committee that make decisions on your local health services. These members are their to represent your views. They can only do that if you belong to the Network which currently has 70 people on it. If you live or work in East Lothian you may be eligible to join.
The Network exists to help improve information about local health services, consult on potential improvements, provides a mechanism for people to raise issues (not complaints), ensures local people are involved in planning and decision making.
You can become an “ordinary” member and just receive information, you can be more involved by attending Network meetings or participate in specific issue groups and represent the Network.
