There’s a report due to be published soon indicating there has been a drop in the number of wind farms being put forward for planning permission. Not before time.
I’ve long felt that they are being built in the wrong places anyway. Where’s the point in constructing large wind farms in remote rural areas far away from where the electricity is actually needed. Use the smaller versions and put them in our towns and cities next to where the electricity they produce is going to be used.
